Fall is the signal of the death of the summer. Together we gather and prepare the harvest for the long haul of dark days and long nights.  We must face our shadow and move toward our own death. Hunting and taking life is the ultimate connection to our own deaths. Death has been demonized and we as a people have been kept insulated from the face of death and harvesting of life. In this class students will learn the skills of a hunter and warrior. Students will learn the basics of camouflage, hunting, and how to kill, process, cook, and tan animals. Furthermore, students will honor their hunt the harvest by creating their own process and ceremony.

The hunter must have no doubt of their intent. Their eyes and aim must be true and focused without hesitation. The hunter wishes to manifest their gifts of focus and perseverance so that they might have a successful hunt so that they can provide for their people that they love the most. In this way we will embody the hunter and will hone our edges with commitment statements and our soul’s mission in this life.
