Adult Summer Camp

  • Holistic Survival School 38 McDaris Cove Road Weaverville, NC, 28787 United States (map)

Ever miss the timeless days of summer camp? Or maybe get a little jealous when your kids come home from camp and tell you stories of night hikes, new friends, walking on coals, hiking to an amazing overlook, cooking meals around the fire, crying while they say goodbye to the best friends they’ve ever had?

At Holistic Survival School we believe every adult should have the opportunity to learn, play, push some new edges,, and make lasting friends that shared in that experience with you. This is your opportunity! We will play games, we will hike mountains, we will make fire by friction, cook meals around the fire, and generally have an outrageous time in the woods!

Though this may sound a little superfluous to your priorities right now, just remember that woods skills is what we do, and play is an amazing way to embody what you learn. This weekend will be filled with plant identification, wild foods preparations, fire skills, scout and movement training, tracking, shelter building, and natural crafts.

In leaving the weekend you may have some cuts and bruises, some dirt stains on your jeans, but undoubtedly a big smile and lots of stories. So come re-live (or maybe for the first time) the exuberance of summer camp!
