Wild Food Foraging class (May 11 & 12th)

200.00 250.00

This full day hands-on workshop taught by naturalist, Luke Cannon, will introduce you to dozens of delicious wild delicacies of our southern Appalachian Mountains.   We will meet and eat a diverse array of spring greens, cook up some wild roots and mushrooms, discuss medicinal herbs, and sip on sweet wild teas.

Other topics we will discuss: Identification, Poisonous Look-a-Likes, Harvesting Ethics, Preparation, Plant Families, Plant Communities and much more!

With a purchased ticket students are welcome to stay and camp-out overnight on Holistic Survival School’s beautiful 45 acre landscape. At night we can gather around the fire, share our stories, and enjoy each other’s company.
